To avoid extra costs in the full production run and maintain quality requirements and deadline stability, we strongly recommend the use of a proofing system. This should be dependant on your quality requirements. In accordance with all prevalent technical prerequisites, all of our available proofing systems, including monitors in the DTP area, are calibrated to eachother (color management).
Digital proof With a digital proof, your file or finished document is printed directly on a special proof printer before exposure. Our systems are the Epson Stylus 4000 and the HP5000 (photo paper, up to 1200 dpi and 152 cm width). The digital proof saves time, but shouldn't be used for the highest quality requirements (absolute color accuracy and detail sharpness) or redigitalizations (descreen processes). Moiré problems are also not recognizable.
Pictro-Proof (Fuji) Format: up to Super A3
HP5000, 6 different-colored UV and weatherproof inks, roll width 152 cm (1200 dpi) Proof
For the proof (up to 50 x 70 cm), the documents are fed over the film or plate (resolution 1270, 2540, 3192 dpi). This system offers the highest quality level and security, and is therefore more cost-intensive and time-consuming. The proof advantage is that you get 5 copies and one color scale (prerequisite for full production run on 1 or 2 color machines). The proof is also suitable as a test for products with special colors, or for small, special color runs up to 50 prints.
